Over the past four years, LION Publishers has grown its membership by 168 percent, and accordingly, we’ve grown our ambitions regarding how best to help our members’ news businesses reach sustainability.
In 2023, we published a Strategic Growth Plan that outlines these ambitions over the next five years. And one essential way to achieve them will be to ensure that LION continues to have a solid financial foundation.
That’s why we’re thrilled to announce that Shelly Hunter has joined LION’s team as our director of development.
She has nearly 20 years of fundraising experience and has dedicated her career to working with mission-driven nonprofits and civic institutions.
