BBC to simulcast ABC News Presidential Debate

The BBC will carry Tuesday's ABC News Presidential Debate simulcast across its linear and digital platforms — including the BBC News Channel, BBC News FAST channel and the newly relaunched BBC.com and BBC app — for audiences across the world.  

BBC coverage will feature a panel of experts, led by Chief Presenters Sumi Somaskanda in Philadelphia and Caitríona Perry in Washington, D.C., who will host insightful conversations around the major moments of the night.  

Supporting coverage will also feature a live blog on BBC.com led by Anthony Zurcher, BBC’s North America correspondent and editor of U.S. Election Unspun, along with global analysis and insights from U.S. Special Correspondent Katty Kay, fact-checking by BBC Verify U.S., a dedicated unit launched to counter disinformation in the run up to Election Day, and special episodes of BBC’s hit podcasts “Americast” and “The Global Story.”
