Today, Yahoo Finance announces partnerships with eight leading financial creators and influential voices from across social media and the world of finance, to join its growing talent roster, to introduce their unique points-of-view that make financial topics more engaging, accessible, actionable, and personalized. These individuals are renowned for their expert insights, and with finance being highly personal to each person’s background and own lived experiences, they can authentically address financial issues across a range of communities. Yahoo Finance has long been the trusted guide to financial information, and partnering with these creators aims to open up opportunities to provide more people with access to useful content and tools in a way that is most relevant to them.

The first group joining Yahoo Finance include Shareef (Ross Mac) McDonald, David Auten and John Schneider (The Debt Free Guys), Tiffany Aliche (The Budgetnista), Robert “Bob” Powell (Retirement Daily), Kenny Polcari, and Patrick Murphy and Dan Kunze.

In partnership with Yahoo Finance, the creators will be developing content that lives across myriad platforms and formats, from all-new podcast series that dive deep into their respective areas of expertise to quick “explainer” videos that break down complex financial concepts for social media and the web, to appearing as regular contributors across shows on Yahoo Finance Live, the marquee broadcast content that airs daily via streaming, CCTV, digital and more.

“Today, Yahoo Finance is number one in reach with C-suite executives, financial advisers and high-net-worth investors, but we have a unique opportunity to grow our audience further by meeting more investors where they are with voices that match their needs and interests,” said Tapan Bhat, president and general manager of Yahoo Finance. “We’re partnering with individuals who have made powerful, authentic connections with their communities. We’re excited to give them another platform to share and introduce those communities to the content and tools that Yahoo Finance offers.”

Half of U.S. adults are looking to social media for their news¹, which is outsized for Gen Z, who are heavily influenced by social media, particularly for investment choices², and often follow creators that speak to them more personally. With a growing interest in personal finance and investing among the next generation — 73 percent of Gen Z already own and trade stocks³ — these experts can help make financial information more accessible and personalized for investors of today and tomorrow.

“I've been dedicated to making life-changing financial education accessible to women worldwide and what's missing from the financial space right now is talking about money from a hopeful perspective. For anyone who has been struggling with their personal finances and are feeling discouraged about their journey, I don't just want to give them help, I want to give them hope,” said Tiffany Aliche (The Budgetnista), on her new Yahoo Finance show, “Money Glow Up.”

“With a strong history of creating programs that resonate with people right where they are, Yahoo Finance is the perfect partner to help us share the financial journeys of LGBTQ+ celebrities, business leaders, and change agents. Together, we aim to inspire more people in the LGBTQ+ community — and anyone who feels overlooked by traditional financial services — to engage in conversations about personal finance, from the kitchen table to the brunch table,” said John Schneider and David Auten (The Debt Free Guys) on their new Yahoo Finance show, “Living Not So Fabulously.”

“With Yahoo Finance, we’re aiming to guide the veteran community — who are often overlooked in the financial landscape — with personal finance and financial literacy resources, while also raising awareness of veterans’ role as civic assets who have repeatedly excelled in business,  entrepreneurship, sports and entertainment,” said Patrick Murphy and Dan Kunze.
