The Latrobe (Pennsylvania) Bulletin has promoted Joe Wells as its new managing editor.
The Slippery Rock University alumnus was first hired in May 2022 as a staff writer for the Bulletin before recently being named managing editor.
“It’s a privilege having been selected to lead the editorial department of the Latrobe Bulletin,” Wells said.
Bulletin Publisher Dave Cuddihy said he conducted a nationwide search from the “Pacific coast, midwest, southeast and New England, and pretty much everywhere in between,” noting he was “very happy with the quality and volume of interest in the editor role.”
“At the end of the day, we had our next man up right here in the Bulletin offices,” Cuddihy said.
