Fox News fires longtime ‘Hannity’ executive producer after internal sexual harassment probe

Fox News has fired longtime “Hannity” executive producer Robert Samuel following an internal probe of sexual harassment claims, Brian Stelter reported Thursday in his “Reliable Sources” newsletter.

Samuel, who has been with the network for nearly 20 years, was let go last week, according to two sources with knowledge of the matter who spoke with the prodigal CNN media reporter. Fox provided a statement to “Reliable Sources,” which it also shared with TheWrap.

A new study of monthly newsletter readers released in July from MAGNA Media Trials and Sherwood Media found 41% said it was their preferred news source — topping a list of 12 sources. The study also found that one-third of newsletter readers don't use news websites as their regular news source.
