Chris Jacobs joins WLWT News 5 as anchor, reporter

WLWT and Hearst Television have announced that Chris Jacobs is joining WLWT News 5 as an anchor and reporter. Beginning May 1, Jacobs can be seen co-anchoring WLWT News 5 with Ashley Kirklen weeknights at 7 p.m. and on WLWT News 5 at 10 p.m. on MeTV Cincinnati.

“Chris has years of reporting and anchoring experience dealing with many of the biggest stories in America,” said WLWT News Director Jeff Benscoter. “He’s reported on both Hurricane Harvey and Hanna, which will be a major asset to WLWT’s commitment to severe weather coverage. Chris has also reported extensively on the border crisis, including Presidential visits, the war on illegal drugs and human trafficking stories,” Benscoter added.
