Ashok Sinha promoted to chief communications officer with Dow Jones

Ashok Sinha

Prior to Dow Jones, Ashok Sinha was SVP, head of corporate communications and PR at Audacy, a leading multi-platform audio content and entertainment company. He led Audacy’s communications strategy and execution across the company’s entire portfolio of assets, as well as internal and external communications. With an extensive career in media, he has also held senior communications positions at WarnerMedia, NBCUniversal, Viacom and Publicis Media.

In this memo to staff, Dow Jones CEO Almar Latour announced that he has promoted Ashok Sinha to the role of chief communications officer for the company:

I’m delighted to share that I have promoted Ashok Sinha to chief communications officer for Dow Jones, effective immediately. 

Since joining Dow Jones last year, Ashok has had a transformative impact on our business and has become a valuable member of our leadership team and strategic communications partner to me. He has rebuilt and led our communications team to effectively craft and share our story globally across functions. He has successfully leveraged his experience in media and entertainment to expertly oversee all public relations, internal, external, executive, crisis and financial communications for our company. Ashok’s deep industry relationships, sage counsel and composed approach have helped us navigate through some tough challenges — and tell the story of our many successes. 

Ashok’s leadership in the role of CCO will be critically important as we drive our business forward and in our quest to be the world’s leading business news and information company.
