The Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism has announced the Guardian US Scott Trust Fellowship in partnership with The Guardian US. The nine-month paid fellowship with full benefits and $65K annual salary will be geared toward early-career journalists who recently graduated from the Newmark J-School.

The Guardian is a leading global news organization dedicated to breaking news and investigations. The Guardian US strives to cover communities that mainstream media have long ignored. The fellow will be expected to follow that mission.

“Our alumni are trained to approach reporting with precision, nuance, and empathy,” said Graciela Mochkofsky, dean of the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism. “Through this fellowship, they will build on this important work and contribute new perspectives to The Guardian newsroom.”
