Making newspapers print corrections in the same place they made their original mistake is a lot easier in theory than in practice.

At the weekend Observer readers’ editor Stephen Pritchard wrote about some of the practical problems with insisting that, post-Leveson, newspapers provide ‘scene-of-the-crime’ corrections.
