The family that owns The Gettysburg Times plans to sell the
9,300-circulation newspaper to George and Marlene Sample, with the deal
expected to be final in about two months.
The sale was announced Monday by the Samples and the surviving family members of former Gettysburg Times publisher Phil Jones, who died last year.
