KBA North America has selected Marty (Martin) Pierce as its new mid-Atlantic sales manager for its sheetfed offset press sales. Pierce’s territory will include Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, West Virginia, and Washington D.C.
“We welcome Marty Pierce to the KBA family,” says Mark Hischar, president and CEO of KBA North America. “We believe his in-depth experience and sales ability will be a great asset to our existing and potential customers in the Mid-Atlantic region. As we continue to roll out new presses and services and market our wide array of leading offset and digital presses for the small shop to the large commercial and packaging printers and everyone in between, we’re confident in Marty’s ability to explain and differentiate our award-winning technology, secure business, and make our company the easiest to do business with.”
Pierce brings with him more than 30 years of experience in the graphic arts industry as a district sales manager, printing instructor, pressman, plant manager, and member of various industry associations. Most recently, Pierce was the executive director for another press equipment manufacturer where he oversaw a team of 11 people and managed a $46 million budget that was responsible for growth in its sheetfed and web business in the U.S and Canada. For 10 years, he also worked for another printing press manufacturer in various capacities. His experience also includes overseeing operations at a sheetfed printing organization with 52 employees.
