Victorville, Calif.--David Keck, a veteran journalist with more than 20 years of experience in the newspaper industry, was named the editor of the Daily Press.

Keck landed the top position in the newsroom, which was vacated after his predecessor, Donald Holland, left the paper to become the special assistant for San Bernardino County 1st District Supervisor Robert Lovingood.
