The Winston-Salem Journal has changed publishers, replacing Jeffrey Green with Kevin Kampman as part of an overall corporate restructuring announced Wednesday by its parent company.

World Media Enterprises, the Journal’s parent company, eliminated 105 jobs throughout its 63-newspaper chain and announced that it will close The News & Messenger in Manassas, Va., in late December, accounting for the loss of 33 of those jobs.

The company said it does not plan to close any other newspapers. The Journal lost other positions, but will not have a number until today.
