Long Beach, Calif.-- American Circulation Innovations has named Anne Plechner as executive vice president, COO/CFO.

Plechner has more than 20 years of experience as a financial and operational leader in a variety of industries. She has held both COO and CFO positions in a number of companies where her focus has been to create operational excellence, improve service and quality for customers and to work with senior leadership toward defining and implementing strategic initiatives.

Since late 2011, she has served in a strategic consulting role, realigning ACI’s HR, Finance and Operations groups as the company continues its dramatic growth.

“Anne has been instrumental in positioning ACI to optimally serve our existing customers and to position us for future opportunities,” said Keith Somers, ACI president. “She’s brought a unique ability to help us continually improve current operations while allowing for flexibility as we work with more markets and more publishing partners.”

Before joining with ACI, Plechner held the position of COO at mOcean, one of the largest entertainment creative advertising agencies in Los Angeles. In this role, she led the company’s operations, finance, human resource and IT functions.

“As ACI expands into new markets and provides an increasingly diverse array of services, we are ensuring that the scope and capability of our operations meet our customers’ needs,” said Plechner. “I’m excited to be leading these efforts for ACI in such a rapidly changing industry.”

Prior to mOcean, Plechner held finance and operations positions at Capstone Turbine, Sony Pictures Entertainment and Deloitte Consulting, and has also been a principal in a consulting practice providing interim CFO services.
